Posted by The ÉSG Parent Advisory Committee has several new and upcoming PAC initiatives, including a new couch for the library. The new couch would be a “leather style” couch, making it a hygienic choice as these materials can be easily wiped down.
The next initiative would be an exciting new addition to the outdoor space at the front of the school: an outdoor classroom!
This would include several picnic tables where students could have recreational time immediately prior to or following school hours, but it would also provide a comfortable space for teachers to take their students outside for classes in the warmer weather.
This would be an enormous benefit to the students, as research shows that fresh air contributes to better mental health, improved sleep and cognitive function.
The picnic tables would be purchased from Uline, pictured below.
