Bill 64 Update
Posted Wednesday, April 14, 2021
The following is a message from LRSD School Trustee Sandy Nemeth:
We want you to know that your school board is becoming increasingly concerned about the impacts proposed Bill 64, The Education Modernization Act, will have on the Louis Riel School Division community and on families and communities everywhere in Manitoba. On March 23, we reiterated a commitment to provide support and assistance, answer questions, and stay engaged and accountable- for as long as we can and in whatever capacity our community requires.
It is becoming increasingly apparent, by the questions we continue to receive and in the absence of answers from government, that confusion and worry exists. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you in order offer any clarity and to assist you in getting the answers you need. Please let us know how we can help.
We look forward to meeting with the Darwin School Community next week, and the École St. Germain PAC in early May.
(Trustees ) Josie Landry, Sandy Nemeth, Neil Vadeboncoeur

As Sandy mentioned above, she will be joining us at our monthly ÉSG PAC meeting on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 7 p.m. Meetings are currently being held virtually, so you can request access to attend via Zoom by emailing email@example.com.
